What helps at this age
- Lots of floor time during the day helps babies practise new skills away from bedtime.
- On a 2-nap day, bedtime may need to move earlier for a week or two.
- Separation anxiety can start now; a consistent, calm goodnight helps.
This is a common age for a nap transition.
These are typical ranges. If your baby seems unusually sleepy, is hard to wake, snores loudly, pauses in breathing, or isn't feeding or growing well, talk to your pediatrician.
