At 8 months, babies can handle 2.75 to 3.5 hours of awake time between sleep periods:

  • First wake window (morning): 2.75-3 hours
  • Second wake window: 3-3.25 hours
  • Last wake window (before bed): 3.5-4 hours - longest to build sleep pressure

8-10 Month Sleep Challenges
